Molecular Programs Overview
Through strategic scientific collaborations, FoxHollow Technologies is targeting a fundamental understanding of vascular disease. We are working towards the identification of novel plaque biomarkers that will help accelerate the development of pharmacogenomic diagnostics and ultimately drugs for vascular disease. We are gaining deeper understanding of how and why vascular disease progresses, and exactly how an individual patient’s genomic and proteomic profile affects that process.
Identifying predictive biological markers that can differentiate one patient’s disease process from another’s will transform the way we develop vascular diagnostics and drugs. Diagnosing and treating vascular disease can then become biologically-based instead of symptom-based. FoxHollow’s dedication to this endeavor will transform the way we study atherosclerotic disease, benefiting both the patients and the research community supporting them.
